The Seventh Great New Zealand Pinot Noir Classification is out - Matthew Jukes' and Tyson Stelzer's annual classification of New Zealand’s best pinot noir producers. Matthew and Tyson stress "the strength of achieving even [a] One Star rating."

We're very pleased that Ata Rangi Pinot Noir has received its seventh-in-a-row 5-star rating - one for every year this well-regarded rating system has been running.

Also, it was a pleasure to see a very strong showing for Martinborough in the overall results, further evidence that we well and truly punch above our weight given the very small percentage of New Zealand vine real estate we make up. Special congratulations to our good neighbours Cambridge Road and Kusuda, who have both moved up a tier this year.

And, on the subject of brothers, you'll find nine of our siblings in The Family of Twelve with us on the list, too.
