Thank you to all those who joined us for Toast Martinborough 2011 for our 20th anniversary celebrations. . TOAST MARTINBOROUGH 2011:  From quake-ravaged Lyttelton, we welcomed The Eastern. Dancing’s was a must with this super-talented, foot-stomping, fun-loving line up. Also on tap were Twin Set and The Eggs, both hot Wellington favourites. The Eggs featured heavy-duty players from Fat Freddy’s Drop and Phoenix Foundation churning out rhythm and soul.

Since 1991, we've worked closely with Ruth and Paul Pretty and their team to bring you a class event. I recall the very first 'Toast' with our first-born baby on my hip as I led the staff briefing, none of us quite certain what was in store. By the end of the day we knew that we'd been part of something extraordinary; an event that few other areas in the wine world could emulate, not only because of our unique location, but also thanks to the collaboration and cooperation of a great community. Our village with its many small, quality-focused wineries within walking distance of one another is clearly 'made' for Toast Martinborough, New Zealand's premier Wine Food and Music festival and the definitely the most enduring and successful in the country.
